| The meaning of the name, Mal'aki is 'my messenger'. Malachi's prophecy provides a divine dialogue which gives insight into God's actions and the people's (very inadequate) responses and behaviour. Despite this, God's love for his people is not diminished. When they repent and return to God with sincere hearts, the obstacles to the flow of divine blessing will be removed and the blessed relationship between God and his people will be restored. |
