St Matts @ School is a planted congregation that meets at 9 am in West Pennant Hills Public School Hall, 1 Church Street, West Pennant Hills. The congregation began meeting in May 2009.

The school setting provides a warm, open environment, and the congregation generates a welcoming atmosphere. A short break for coffee, which coincides with the children heading off to Kids’ Church, gives the adults a chance to relax and mingle before the casual meeting gets well underway.

As part of St Matthews, our mission is to reflect the generosity of Christ in and to our community. As a family focused congregation we have a particular passion for the members of the local public school communities, not least West Pennant Hills, who generously allow us to use their facilities.

As a congregation we are committed to encouraging people of all ages to grow in their faith in the Lord Jesus and their love for one another. Central to our time together is hearing God's word read and explained, praying to God, and singing about our great God and the good things he has done.

Our children are valuable members of our congregation. There are age-specific programs for toddlers through to Year 6 children where they learn more about God and his Son, Jesus, in a safe, fun environment. The leaders of our children’s programs can be identified on Sunday mornings by their yellow name tags.

Meeting at West Pennant Hills Public School presents amazing opportunities for people to connect afresh with the God who has made himself known in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. We hope St Matts @ School will be a place where you can come and grow in your faith and knowledge of the Lord Jesus, while encouraging others. Everyone is welcome!
