Are you in your twenties or a teenager, or just still young at heart? Are you looking for a contemporary service that is focused on hearing God’s Word and teaching, and talking to God in prayer? A service that is relaxed, lively and passionate. A service that seeks to honor God by reflecting the generosity of Christ both within our own community and in the world. This is the place where most of our young adult community and senior youth meet on a Sunday evening. Each week we gather to hear from the Bible and how God’s authoritative word speaks into our lives. We spend time in prayer, thanking God for sending his Son so that we can be in right relationship with Him, for ourselves, our community, missionaries and God’s world. We sing contemporary songs and regularly hear from people in our congregation about what God has been doing in their lives. After the formal part of the gathering is over, we then hang around and talk.
We also really value the fellowship of sharing the Lord’s Supper together. A time when those of us who have put our trust in Jesus and are attempting to live lives obedient to his teaching share in the bread and wine and remember Jesus’ saving work for us in his life, death and resurrection.
Spectators are welcome, but we are also a congregation that loves having people get involved - whether it’s working the sound desk, reading the Bible, praying, playing in the band, leading services, or just serving in heaps of ways.
