Prayer is the first priority of the Christian community (1 Timothy 2:1-6). Praying brings the church into line with Jesus' own persistent commitment to prayer throughout his earthly life. Through prayer we align ourselves with our Lord and his apostles' priority.
St Matts provides a quarterly prayer diary with daily bible readings for its members covering its staff, link missionaries, volunteers and activities. In addition to regular parish-wide prayer meetings there are regular weekly prayer meetings held at the parish centre.
