The Book of Acts chapters 1 to 11 records the period the early church after Jesus' Resurrection.  It records the coming of the Holy Spirit and the transformation of the disciples into witnesses for Christ.  It also records the conversion of Saul on the road to Damascus, and God's guidance of the disciples, transforming their understanding for the spread of the gospel, not only to the Jews, but also to the Gentiles.
