The St Matthew’s Singers were formed in 1990 to enable singers to experience the joy of singing the liturgy of the Anglican Church which they have done here at St Matthews, throughout the Sydney diocese and beyond.
Their repertoire includes music from the 17th Century to the present day.
The Singers sing at the 8am service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month, at three Evensong services during winter and an annual Christmas Lessons & Carols service.
The group now numbers just over twenty and is joined by guests from time to time. There is a strong supporting and caring fellowship within the group which enjoys occasional social gatherings as well as the weekly choir practice on Thursday evening in the church at 7.45pm.
New members are VERY welcome.
