This sermon series provides an opportunity to share in what the Bible has to say about reaching out to our neighbours in need.  It provides a key for recognising the crushing effect that poverty can have on the human spirit.  How shall we live having compassion in practical ways for people in need? 

This is clear a challenge for us at St Matts as we seek to fulfil our stated commitment of "Reflecting the Generosity of Christ in and to our Community".
