The Lord of Life and Light

The gospel of John is both simple and profound. People at all levels can read, enjoy and benefit from it, as it testifies to the divinity of Jesus Christ.  John wrote his gospel for the specific purpose of bringing people to spiritual life through believing in Jesus Christ. He wrote that there were many things that were not written down but that : "these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." (20:31)
