Jenny Fallon has been with the interdenominational mission, SIM, (Serving in Mission) since 1986, firstly in Burkina Faso (West Africa). She worked as a nurse-midwife in a rural part of the country and later helped set up and supervised a program called Hope for AIDS. SIM is partnering with the local church to increase its capacity to fight HIV/AIDS, especially in encouraging a compassionate and Biblical response to those who have been affected by this pandemic.
Jenny worked with rural women in a variety of contexts, particularly teaching them to read and understand the Bible for themselves. As deputy director of SIM Burkina, she had administrative responsiblities, including the care of missionary colleagues.

Returning to Australia, Jenny married Dale Williams and is now Pastoral Care and Development Coordinator for SIM Australia. This involves the assessment and preparation of new missionary candidates, as well as their ongoing pastoral care, in collaboration with sending churches.
